I wish i could get more ammo for the Crossbow than just 2 or 3... (whatever it is)

I've been HIGHLY amused just running around trying to "stick" people with it. Gotten somewhat good with it. It's not like it's even half as powerful as the "noobtubes." Give me more ammo! I want to run with it full time!

Got one guy 6 times in one match with it last night. He was PISSED. It's beyond hilarious to watch someone run around with a dart in their head, blinking green, though.

Yeah, I just picked up the crossbow last time I played. I have to get used to it still. I think it only has 2 bolts.

Played at least 3 new maps last night - they're pretty cool. The rooftop one is kind of crazy though - I remember it from the story part of the game. I think they did a good job w/ the new ones - it'll take some time to get used to them though.

With regards to paying with MS pts, I guess I don't sweat it too much. I do use them once in a while (ie..w/ Assassin's Creed 2 & its add-ons). But good call on getting it from Gamestop. I always forget that the add-ons are available from actual stores.

Finally got into the HD crowd with a samsung 50" plasma. It looks great and all, but I am really struggling with my COD playing now. I'm good at getting the first shot, but now I have a hell of a time controlling the recoil. I'm about to hook it back up to the old tube...

Oh well, btw zeros, sorry about not joining up last night, I have been leaning towards purchasing the new maps but waiting for of my friends to decide before I take the plunge(yes I know its only 15 bucks but bear with me)

Yay! Though I'm not playing as much (ie..hrs at a time), I should hit prestige #9 this weekend

The beauty of it is that when you start hitting your lifetime challenges, that can mean 20 - 40k pts if you're near them.

No problem, we should all be on tonight. Let me ask you all a question that Grim, PrazVT and I were wondering about. If we are all in a party and one or more of us did not buy the new maps yet, but others in the party have, will it just keep us on the old maps when we join a game? Thanks.

Hey Zeros - I think I found the answer. Basically, if someone in our party doesn't have the first strike pack, the map rotation won't include the new maps. If other gamers in our game lobby vote for a first strike map, then they get sent back to the main lobby.

9th prestige already? Damn. Either you're the greatest or have WAY more time to play than I do. I play 2-4 hours 5-6 nights a week. I was at 45 3rd prestige Friday night and thanks to double xp, I am already at 22 and moving up quick!

I'm decent, but I'd attribute the prestiges to all the challenge points. There are 8 levels just for lifetime challenges - if you play long enough, at some point you start hitting all of those. And that means 10 - 20,000+ pts per round. It's a little harder in the later prestiges though. I played a decent amount this weekend and went from 25 -> 48 in 3 days. That's a little slower than usual b/c some of later lifetime challenges are way up there in terms of requirements.

I started the weekend at lvl 34 1st prestige, at lvl 15 second prestige now.

I've been rocking the hell out of domination the last couple days.

I hear ya. I'm not getting the time to play as much these days either. By the time work + gym workout is done, I'm usually pretty exhausted. I may be on tonight for a few games though.
