Because you can't articulate your thoughts or post clear photos you're going to try and blame others, especially me!?!
Sorry I tried to help you, it won't happen again...LISTED!

Re: Tweeter replacement options for Monitor 10b
The RD0194-1 requires a slightly larger cutout. There have been a couple people who have installed the SL1000 tweeter bezel on it and no cutout mods needed but it isn't simple and maybe the magnet hole pattern isn't exactly the same (I don't remember). The other option is you can trim the plastic bezel down a bit to make it fit but then the mounting holes do not match perfectly.
Personally, I'd go with the Peerless. No cutout mods needed. Polk sent the SL1000 as warranty replacements (5 year warranty) when people's Peerless failed, after Peerless ceased production of it and Polk had moved on to the SL1000. They don't seem to have any longevity issues.
I can personally vouch for the fact that they sound great.

Re: New to me SRS 2s
I agree; df is a meaningless spec. I've memorized most of the other specs on my Mac amps but never paid any attention to the df. It's only 100 (just looked it up) but there's no shortage of quality bass on the 1.2tls. As mentioned already high current is the spec you should be concerned with.

Re: Cable connection from preamp to es8

For a little bit more money this has a smaller footprint and is a far better sub. You can even control it on your mobile. No affiliation.

Thanks for the input, I do appreciate it, but my issue is I bought this equipment for my kitchen in a 150 year old nyc apartment kitchen that is 12x15 and where people already complain about noise from tv speakers. I've sized the sub, both wattage and woofer dimension, based on my living space, and am quite happy with the sound. I've already had neighbors mention to me the volume level, and have adjusted my listening accordingly.
Noise complaints are grounds for eviction, so...
But I do appreciate your recommendation. I actually looked at it prior to purchasing what I have, but it's too much for the space and situation. Thanks.
