@61sds61 Welcome to the forum. Please don't feel insulted by questions asked here. The members here have years of experience with SDA speakers. I've seen way too many new members come & go quickly because they feel insulted. The members here enjoy helping new members out to get the best out of their SDA speakers & at the same time not damage your gear. Even myself going around in circles thinking I'm doing it right, to find out I wasted $$$ for no reason. Keep in mind the age of the speakers as well. With the right steps you can bring those speakers to a whole different level as well. Welcome again. Enjoy your day.

You are correct about the S-video cable. They went ahead and ordered the converter you suggested to convert HDMI to optical. Thanks for the input.

Well I was thinking about upgrading my cutlery set after listening to everyone rant about these. Unfortunately I went with a different brand. They are not the most expensive but they sure are purdy!
Very nice man, I recently upgraded my steak knives as well however I'll be looking for something similar to the knife in @gyosa post to be my new butcher knife....

Just wanted to share my condolences to all here who knew this man, and his family, also. He didn't post a lot in the almost three years I've been here, but I've perused enough history to understand the impact he had. May he rest in peace.
