While out fishing on the Columbia River we came across this home made contraption floating downstream. We had to stop and check on them considering they were in the shipping channel. It was a father/ son project that that they started 3 months earlier. It was actually quite fascinating! The teepee had a fire pit in it, they had a stack of firewood, a propane barbeque grill, a storage tent, an outhouse and a small outboard powered skiff for navigation control when the sails were ineffective.
My first thought was to put this in the "you're doing it wrong" discussion but hell. I'm jealous!
