That's when the magic happens.I have not connected the interconnect cable between the two speakers because I'm afraid of ruining the magic sound .

Absolutely! I have great respect for anybody that can stop a long term habit or dependence on most anything...music being an exception

Haven't had a sip since a glass of wine on xmas and probably only 8 drinks all last year and today actually boxed up all our booze and I'm giving it all to my best bud. No interest what so ever.
Congrats to everyone's accomplishments and as others have mentioned my is much better without it.
