I think the biggest issue is the R200's are discounted most places (as are the ES20's) the price gap is less than in the past. I think most places have the ES20's for $299/pr. I don't think you'll find a better sub $500 (retail) (new) for a bookie.

These are selling fast. I was on the site earlier in the week and everything Polk was available. I bought both my Marantz PM6007 integrated and ES20's from this site. Excellent transaction

A good cleaning makes a world of difference (both socket and tube pins). I always try and clean a new to me tube before I put in the socket. This keeps the "crud" in the sockets to a minimum.

I was set to replace my tubed pre but decided to have the sockets cleaned, glad I did!
