"Der Self-Satisfiedkrauttenwagen winner at the 2025 California Concours d'Lemons was Andrew Hancock from Fremont, CA with his 1971 VW ThinBug. The car was modified by taking a slice out of the middle of the car lengthwise, turning it into a single wide, tandom seat configuration. The work was exceptionally well done, which just goes to show that Andrew was so preoccupied with whether or not he could, he didn't stop to think if he should. But we are glad he did. A well deserved award."
