Re: Bi-WIring Polk L800s for SDA
I forgot to address this.
The difference between a damping factor of 50 and 1000 is so tiny that it is laughable. In addition, to obtain a high damping factor generally requires a large amount of negative feedback, which may or may not be a bad thing.
I considered using the A21+ for the woofers because it has a damping factor around 1000, which suggests I could achieve tighter and more controlled bass, even at lower volume levels.

Re: Bi-WIring Polk L800s for SDA
Should I use the Marantz PM-KI Ruby and the A21+ for bi-wiring?
You are asking about bi-amping, not bi-wiring. Regardless, the answer is no.
BTW, the Ruby (excellent) is an integrated amp while the A21+ is a power amp only. Sell the A21+.

Thank you @sgmsmg for the suggestion. I was shocked how much better stocked ACE was.
Got just what I needed and had a ton of options to choose from. Ended up going with neoprene washer to space it and got two sizes of bolts but the shorter one worked just fine.

The washer was a PERFECT fit for the foot as it was identical in size to the raised area on the plastic foot.

Attached to the new foot

Also heard some rattling around inside so popped the top to find a small nut that was floating around. No ideas what it went to but removed it before it connected things that shouldn’t be connected lol.
Some interior shots because I likely won’t open this again.

Here is the Honda S2000 AP1 I settled on. One owner, 2003, 32k original miles never driven in rain or snow. I had to shell out $31.5k, didn’t even blink.

Re: Ozzy just passed
****, this is hard. Absolutely my favorite artist of all time. Early 80's, pre-teen, getting into music. First time hearing Ozzy blew me away. This wasn't my parent's music. It had balls, it was heavy, I was hooked, immediately. Ozzy opened the door for me. I've never looked back. Thank you, Ozzy! Your music has been the soundtrack to my life. I am grateful for the opportunities I've had to see him live. Solo, and with Sabbath. Rest in peace. Your impact on the world will never die.
