Re: Said goodbye to my best friend this morning.
Thank you all for the kind words and heart felt comments.
This may sound stupid to non-pet owners but I wouldn't have had this any other way...
We're so glad he didn't pass in the middle of the night while we were asleep. He died in our arms, being petted and told what a great job he did and how much he's loved.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Re: My 2024 Polk SDA 2b Modification Progress Thread (Drop1)
The project commenceth.

Vinyl wrap removal. I had quite a bit of trouble at first. I'm finding that the method described by a comment I found from @F1nut in 2010 is probably the best way to go about it. I thought this was going to take me *forever* but once I found a rhythm I was able to get it done with relative ease. Still quite time consuming.

A heat gun.
Heat up a corner by waving the gun back and forth. Do not get the gun too close. In short order the vinyl will soften, then get a grip and pull it back with your fingers. Heat a little more, pull it back, repeat until done. Use caution as the vinyl will be hot. I recommend gloves. I don't like to use a putty knife as it can tear the vinyl and also scuff/gouge the particleboard.

Re: You’re doing it wrong…
- few things are more toxic than the “influencer culture”…
Agree!
AI may be trouble down the line, Gen Z's that never lived a day without a phone in their hand.
That's all from me, I usually keep quiet on these kind of topics.

Re: You’re doing it wrong…
There was a time not too long ago when I would have dismissed this as a complete fake. It might still be, however I have no trouble believing it to be true - few things are more toxic than the “influencer culture”…
