Re: Reserve Bookshelf speakers.
You're like a broken record. How many times are you going to ask before you just pull the trigger...lol
I too am like you and have tendencies to "over evaluate" some purchases. Here's one of my threads shortly after purchasing the R200's. There is some other discussion besides just stands.
FTR, they are impressive for their size, punch higher than their class and really never misstep. I know some on here are hyper critical, like VR3, which I value his opinion. To me these sound like Polks of yesteryear more than anything they've sold for quite some time.

That is a good potential tweak in my opinion and I've never seen any MW straight from the factory that way. A little less reflection back at the cone and better breathing no matter how slight.
They are indeed, I also have his 1000VA dreadnoughts as well. I'm am going to get one of them engraved with a similar message as the custom plate on VR3s CRSs

When Jethro wanted to be a movie star/stuntman, he came up with a name to match others. (Compared to: Dash Riprock, Crunch Hardtack, Bolt Upright, Race Burly, and Biff Steele.) Jethro became known as "Beef Jerky".

If I had a child and my last name was Dent....
Rip's real first name was "Elmore". He told me that when he was a young actor, he kept getting introduced as Elmer and Elmo, so he changed it to "Rip".

I'm using a 1989 Adcom 545 for my SDA CRS+ and that combination sounds awesome. You can find Adcom's (545/555) for sale constantly on eBay and marketplace for cheap. They are super easy to work on plus you can do all types of upgrades to those amps.
