$6500 obo (I have more than this invested FBM)
A lot of work has already been done to get this rusty old truck on the road. 5.3 ls engine from running suburban (mileage unknown)Including disc brake drop spindles in the front, new floor pans, rocker panels, door bottoms, fenders, windshield, engine, trans, and more. I’d love to finish it, but can’t seem to find the time or money. Needs brake lines plumbed, shifter, battery, wiring, gauges, seats and probably other stuff. Includes brand new glass for the whole vehicle and ecm that was flashed by lt1swap(dot)com

Re: You know you’re getting old when…
Congrats for sure! I'm about to hit the 70 mark and I keep getting that "how the hell did this happen?" moment.

Re: Monitor 7s recap
yes 5.8 uF, not 4.0 uF. That 34uF could be a 33uF Clarity Cap CSA to save money if you wanted. 10W or 12W for the 2.0 Ohm tweeter resistors, not 5W which wouldn't be an upgrade over what is there, power wise. You have 2R2 in your cart which is wrong. That's 2.2 Ohms and you need 2.0 Ohms. You also need to get a Jantzen 0.27mH, 0.5 Ohm inductor so it isn't totally a simple mod.

Re: Monitor 7s recap
Try an Audience Auricap XO 12 uf. Rated even higher than Jantzen Superior Z and it is $42.66 vs. $68.17. Sonicap is $57.27 and ClarityCap CSA is $26.68.
You'd be the first one here to have tried the Audience afaik 😉 PS: except for maybe DarqueKnight (rip) 😥

Re: Monitor 4 upgrades
Next. External backpack Duelund crossover network. 🤣 Nice work. I think there are more interesting surprises in store for those who appreciate this thread. 👌

Re: Are the Legend Series quietly discontinued?
Personally, I think Polk missed the mark. Had the new SDA model had some resemblance to the originals I believe they would have done a lot better. The angled baffle, SDA tweeter and being ported instead of having a PR turned me off right away.
The looks are rather chunky, but they sing sweetly. The imaging is the best Polk has ever done. Do I miss my 1.2TL's? Not for a second.

Re: Orchard Audio Class D Amp
The only thing I don't care for with the AHB2 is the placement of the XLR inputs and speaker output binding posts in relation to each other. The inputs are on the bottom row, and the outputs are directly above them, in close proximity. It's fine for banana plugs on the speaker cables, but for spade connectors, or bare wire (my preference), it can be tricky, since the 'entry point' for spades or bare wire is on the underside of the binding posts.
I just received the AHB2 late this afternoon & just got 'er all hooked up. Yes the real estate on the back panel is tight.
To hook up my REL S812 sub via high level spade connectors I just tilted the amp on its side & that made it a breeze. Coming from a 80lb A21+ I'll live with a little congestion. After all once it's all hooked up you pretty much leave it alone.
Will be doing some listing this evening.

Re: Aerosmith-Yungblud-Lainey Wilson
I saw Aerosmith in ‘75 - fifty frickin years ago. They were on top of the world and they kicked total azz at that show. Joe Perry was and is one of the coolest cats to ever breathe air. This is a good video

Re: Polk Forum Giveaway!
Super late to the party. Thought I'd just share my story. My Polk Journey started as a kid in a NYC Public Library, fondly reading audio magazines. One of them struck me as amazing, Matthew Polk standing in a lab coat next to a pair of SDA. I was hooked on music and audio reproduction at the time but had to do with my parent's Fischer system but was dreaming of Polks. Right after college, my first paycheck went to a pair of Polk RT55. This first system grew to a 7.1, with in-wall RT rears, FX surrounds, PWS450 sub, CS400 center. I was content for a very long time. Since then I've added multiple generations of flagship Polk speakers. Started with a pair of LSi25, LSiC, LSiF/X and a pair of DSW microPRO-3000 somewhere in between. I have these in my game room. Then I added the LSiM707 and its whole family of theater speakers and still very much capable and used quite frequently in my 9.7.6 dedicated theater. In Nov 2019, as far as I know, I bought the first pair of L800 Legends after hearing them at an Audio Show in NYC right there and then. They're still the main anchor of my 2ch system. I've added other brands of speakers from Ascend Acoustics, Totem, B&W, KEF, Martin Logan, Klipsch, Elac and Q Acoustics.
