It is possible they Hub bodies are stuck on an old firmware that isn't working with the latest app. Also, do you have your wifi setup as separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz or are they combined? The Hub probably doesn't work with they newer combined wifi. I've had to keep mine separate all these years. I have my hub setup on the 2.4 band. It's been many years, but I seem to recall a way to connect the hub directly to a PC running the My Harmony App. Maybe not, but that's worth looking into. Also, there used to be a lot of support at the Remote Central forum, but I haven't been there in years either.
Overall, my hub has worked great since I grabbed it on clearance at Walmart all those years ago. It allowed me to control the PS3 without using a separate Sony BT remote.

Apparently Polk wasn't the only one at the time pairing the Audax tweeter with a square magnet midwoofer, although it does look different compared to the one above.

I ran across that sale when I was searching for woofers for my minis. I do believe that was probably used by Polk in some of the early 7s. If the guy had 2 I would have bought them just to check them out.
Thats from another seller. Apparently he has a pair of 7s he's parting out. One came with a peerless and the other with above pictured audax.
I think it would be cool to see a 7 with those CTS woofers and the Audax tweeters.

JBL Basspro Hub - 11"
My daughter just bought a 2021 Maxda CX-9 and wants to replace the Bose sub. I have not heard it yet but she states it just doesn't deliver. She's looking at the JBL Basspro Hub - 11" sub that fits in the wheel well somehow. My subs in the past have always been enclosed in a box of some sort so I have no experience with these wheel well mounts. Are they worth it?
