Re: B&K amp issue
This reminds me of a very similar issue I had a long time ago with a manufacturer refurbished Marantz receiver and a five channel Rotel amp. The system worked perfectly for months but then developed the "white noise" phantom signal issue in the center speaker when the amp was in standby mode. I traced the problem to the pre-out on the receiver rather than a fault in the amp. My solution was also to disconnect the center channel pre-out from the amp and use the receiver to power the center speaker. I moved on to a dedicated Rotel AV processor after a few months.

Re: Polk Signa S4 audio cuts out every now and then
Hello,
Welcome! Since it's happening with a second soundbar maybe the problem is not with it. Are you able to try another connecting cable or source device? What component provides the incoming signal?

Re: Polk Monitor 11A Speakers
The Monitor 11A is different than the Monitor 11 with the Peerless tweeter. I do not believe the 11A has a dedicated left and right cabinet. It's basically a larger Monitor 10.
This is the 11A.

This is the 11A.

Re: Cary SLP-05 LED problem.. ☹️
FWIW blue LEDs IME fail more often than red or green.
They were also the hardest color to create.

Re: Let's see some trees!
We went very rustic this year.
BLUF* Very rustic.
Our favorite local Christmas tree farm closed due to the declining health of the owners.
There are other local options, but nature (and my own rather laissez faire approach to property maintenance
) left us with a bunch of scruffy white pine saplings out along the driveway.
The need to be cut down anyway, so I suggested to my life partner here
that we could find an acceptable one to harvest if she'd manage her expectations. Well... there are some attractively conical ones out there, but in her estimation the branches were too far apart (and not numerous enough) for decoration. We found one that had acceptable branch density (that's d(branch)/dV, for the engineers in the house), but a somewhat non-conical visage. I proposed trimming it to shape, but there was a counter-proposal because one of us
felt doing so would render it too barren.
So...
Yes, very rustic.

Trust me - underexposure becomes that tree.
