Mono block amp rebuild - 1570Bs
Hi all, wanted to share a recent project I'm finally turning the corner on. A bit bragadocious, I get it....and a lot of photos. Sorry!
I've spent quite some time learning, studying, measuring, collecting, learning, buying parts, sand blasting, buying, powder coating, learning, and leaning on a member here in this forum (he knows who he is, and can chime in if he wants - very grateful for his mentorship).
I am pretty stoked to have finished one amp, and onto the other soon! Posting a few pics for others if they get a project similar.
Sandblasted chassis with new parts rough fit:

Powder Coated chassis with new parts starting to be placed:

Cleaned up, sandblasted and painted and powder coated transformers with some new parts:

Starting to rough fit components:

Getting there:

Done:

Final from top:

Pretty excited with how this one turned out. Now, to start the second one soon. Well, and I haven't sent any electricity through this one yet! Testing first....
Anyways, thanks for reading!

Re: What did you do to your stereo rig today?
Jumper cables! AudioQuest Jupiter, from tratliff in our classifieds. Once upon a time I bi-wired (Harmonic Technolgy Pro 9+/Pro 11+) then went back to the solid copper Cardas jumpers. Too late and too tired to fire them up.
