Re: Don't be an Audiophile Bully
Gotta define "bullying" first, there, broseph.
Getting your feelings hurt by the truth or reality isn't bullying. It's just reality and/or tough love. If this hurts you, wear a helmet 'cause life is hard, ain't it?
Getting your feelings hurt by someone who perpetually follows every post you make and turns it into a defecation slinging match is bullying. You have every right to be upset.
There are those who do the following and slinging that make a nuisance of themselves yet claim bullying when they are called on their behavior and/or poor decision making.
There are also those who are fairly blunt and straight-forward, calling a spade a spade.
Being a slinging nuisance is just as much of being a bully as an actual bully. The hypocrisy is palpable.
Being blunt and to the point with a seeming disregard for feelings is not bullying, it's just a lack of tact.
I blame it on a failure in parenting.
In summation, here's the immortal words of Mr. Grand to satiate your desires to bring levity to a lofty hobby.

Person #2 - "Hey, try the Rolls-Royce. I read that they're okay, but expensive."
Is this HELPING anyone?

(Don't like these wheels on this car)
That is a big engine for the Camaro.

Reminds me of a car, one of my friends in Bremen GA drove. It was a 1966 Chevy II Nova SS that he ordered from Jones Motor Company (Chevy dealership).
It was the car "to die for" when we all saw it. It had a big a** engine that had more horsepower than cubic inches. It could have been the 327/350hp/L79 engine, but I think it was larger.
It was the age when insurance was nearly impossible for a young male in late teens who had a car with four-speed transmission. I found this likeness that is not a SS::
The 66 Chevy II Nova was available with the 327/350hp as the biggest engine from the factory. I also had a good friend who had one. It was the 327/365 motor with a hydraulic cam instead of the 30/30 solid lifter cam. It had 11 to 1 pistons, 4 bolt mains, big valve heads and 780 dual feed Holly carburetor. They were quick for their time as they were light as far as weight. His had 4:11 rear end and he put a Crane cam in it with fender well Hooker headers. His was a black SS, it was a good looking car. He got a drag racing ticket in it the first night he was out in it after he got it.

Re: You know you’re getting old when…
@Geoff4rfc - did you just get a Camaro and cruising the local high school when activities let out?
Or are you still rolling in the dirty white panel van handing out free lollipops?
I mean, either one is genius. Side note, I found a way to game a house arrest ankle monitor.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA_42DHkWvI
I lived that exact lifestyle to a T.
lol
And that was actually filmed down the street from where I lived

Thanks, everyone takes their hearing for granted till you start losing it. I had got to were I hardly listened to my setup anymore. That has now changed and I'm very thankful for that.

Re: Veri Fi SnubWay......don't listen to music, experience it!
Av123 was known for offering fantastic products at great prices, they even sold alot of products at a loss. I don't doubt their products are solid but just wanted to verify he is one and the same. He did in fact burn many many people out of their money - he was arrested years later for this portion, https://forums.audioholics.com/forums/threads/mark-schifter-arrested-again.78372/ and for some folks it's hard to overlook the past given the nature of his scam. That takes a certain personality that doesn't usually go away.
I'm all for what they are doing and offering being on the up and up. V they seem to deliver based on your feedback
