Re: R.I.P. Rick Derringer
I saw Rick Derringer in the mid-70’s playing at a small bar called The Rafters in the middle of nowhere in Central Wisconsin. He totally kicked azz, and literally had the standing room only crowd hanging from the rafters. It was outstanding in every way. I had been a fan of his since the McCoys through the Johnny Winter And days and his solo work. That video of Hang On Sloopy posted above was made for the rerelease of the song in the 70’s but I think it may have only been rereleased in Europe, but at any rate that hot babe in the video got something like $300 for her bit. Great song and she makes the video smoking hot. Rick was a great guitarist who was vastly under appreciated. RIP.

Re: Vintage Monitor and SDA Speaker Deals
Well I'm not sure those are SDA 2a. I've never seen the SDA 2a in that cabinet configuration WITH a pin/blade socket.
Definitely 2B’s

Re: Vintage Monitor and SDA Speaker Deals
According to SDA Handbook based on the cabinet design (fig 3.8) and the pin/blade connector they would be 1987 or 1989 version SDA2B's depending on having polyswitches in the crossover.
