Revox was there although I didn't buy into the sales guy saying you can record anything, including streaming audio, and it will sound better. IMO, I believe you have to buy something like an expensive Tape Project tape to get the absolute full bang out of tape. Tape project uses original masters to record onto new manufacture tape and they do sound excellent.

Tape recorders use lots of relays, every time a function is selected three or more relays have to click. The relays made by Omron are very well built.
