Re: You know you’re getting old when…
"Basic Computer Terms (1976)"
That was almost the total content of the first computer course I took in 1980, except for the program we had to write on punch cards. I said then it was so boring that I'd never deal with computers again.
I've now been in computers professionally for 38 years. Turns out there was more to it. LOL

Re: One year without alcohol
Congrats my friend. A very noteworthy accomplishment…but I think it’s great that it doesn’t even feel like an accomplishment anymore. Just living your life on your terms.

Re: POLK SDA 2 magic sound
Today I connected the interconnect cable . I can say that the musician seemed to be floating in the air . You don't feel like turning off the system . I think it is one the few hi -fi items that stand the test of time .Obiouvsly this is my humble opinion .

Nice assortment! Thanks. Sounds like you've been having fun.
Try a Sylvania 6SN7WGTA micanol base w/ green text if you have a chance. Great tube.

Re: POLK SDA 2 magic sound
If you open them up you might be able to see tag when they were made IF they are original MW woofers
. Good time to glue the magnets as well

Re: You’re doing it wrong…
Who the hell can sleep at 82 unless you grew up in a tropical rain forest or something? I'll do 78 when I'm gone, but 76 is about the highest I can stand to be in the house and sleeping...that better be below 74, with a ceiling fan on full blast.
