The surround rubber looks a little crusty.

    Har,

Some of the "walnut" finish CRS+'s were actually vinyl with an imitation walnut pattern. I know how much you like real wood, so I would email the seller and ask if his speakers are real wood veneer or vinyl with a walnut pattern.;)

I wouldn't be worried about the surround rubber. A little "armor-all" and it'll clean right up.

I thought the CRS+ had the interconnect cable receptacle molded into the input plate. This looks like it may be a blade blade connection. Something to think about.

There were two versions of the CRS+:

The 1986 version of the CRS+ has the blade/blade SDA interconnect cable with the jack in the back of the cabinet.

The 1989 version of the CRS+ has the pin/blade SDA interconnect cable with the jack in the binding post plate.
