Damn, the price went up to $2300.00.......eff that, $2100.00 is my cut off.Political Correctness'.........defined

If the key to bliss is 2k on a power cord, thats great. They wouldn't be in business if nobody bought them, so to some it must bring some kind of pleasure.
Perception is your reality, if you plug it in and percieve a improvement then there is an improvement, simple as that.
Now what makes me curious is, who buys them?
In my line of work I have seen some extravagent stuff, the db-7 James Bond drove in Goldfinger, Its in a basement 15 miles west of Philadelphia. 1967 Ferarri NART, one of 3, over 2 million $$, its in a garage 15 miles west of philly, the guy drives it around every once and a while, 3 litre v-12, it sings. Gobes that show the us of a as territories and Iran as the persian empire 2 hundred thousand. But non of these people had a Krell setup or any high end ht setup. Of all the over the top houses I have worked in I have never really seen any sound system of note and you would think if you have 800 million liquid you would just say "what the hell give me the best you got"
Personally I think its like "the emperers new clothes" Even if I have unlimited budget I couldn't justify 100k on a sound system, maybe 25 or 35 but not 100, however that 67 NART, man is that thing just a work of art.... -
Thanks Marvda, I have a high power amp that I would love to try one these cords out on and see if I hear a difference over my entry Shunyata. Damm I just remembered the Guardian needs a 20 amp IEC, or else I need two cords for the Mono blocks. Well that probably blows that.
Great offer.

Nice offer Marv, I would take ya up on it if I was closer.

I guess this is being offered to folks who really are into audio and not just those who sit on the sidelines trying to cast stones at something they either know nothing about or are unwilling to try. I'm just glad I have an open mind.
Ted, if you want to try a 20 amp cord (Virtual Dynamics Nite Platinum) I have one that I could lend you as I will not be needing it for a while. I could bring it to Polkfest if I make it. Sorry only one.Michael
In the beginning, all knowledge was new!

The question isn't "will this $2100 power cable make a difference"
The question should be "will this power cable make a $2100 difference?"
There's all kinds of goodies out there for bored people with deep pockets.

cool Mike, I would only need one to go from the wall into the Guardian, I then plug the mono's into it, no doubt in my mind the Guardian is an excellent power center.

Hey Mule, where abouts west of Philly? I live in that general direction. Is it a private residence? I wouldn't mind just taking a look at the house.
