    The enclosure needs reinforcement.

sorry brother, I like couldn't resist.

customer support, and they do come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Have you ever tried getting ahold of Amana cardboard box support ?
    Nonexistent.

And trying to fix one yourself is hopeless.

This is one of the best threads I've ever read on this board. I humbly submit the coup de grace with an artist's rendition of the subwoofer. The red spoiler helps equalize the sub around 40-60Hz. Sorry, I had to guess on the oil's weight.

Like, I have an airhole in my box now, but should I seal it?

HBombtoo explained (on a serious note) why airholes are in subs . Don't cover the hole. If it's the "handhold" for the box I might suggest you make it a little bigger. The sub may sound better. If it doesn't, duct tape the piece you cut out back on.

He pops up from time to time with a "hello" or "remember me?".

    Priceless
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

So I get home from work and had totally forgotten about this thread until I read the title again and was laughing before clicking on it to read it again. When I read the title in the listing tonight I somehow replaced the word "airlhole" for one that's almost exactly like it. ;)

Oh, I agree with the "classically funny threads" thing!

Well, I have to subs and one of them is in a big hefty cardboard box! Lol yes very cheap but it pounds. The other is in a real box. For the cardboard one do I need the hole?

Just thought I'd quote the "meat" of what this thread is about. Fu*king hilarious:D:D:D:D:D:D
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
