You have the wiring down, other than that I can't think of anything else. Where are you going to mount them. Do you have a board/rack already made for them?

I'm planning on mounting the 2 amps on the other side of the trunk from where the 400.4 is. The only problem is that the car jack is right there so I was thinking of some sort of hinged type of setup so I could access teh jack if I ever need it.

I'm not going to prep anything until I have all of the pieces, but then I'm also going to try to build a sub box for the two things (yikes) so we'll see how well that goes over.

Now that I see you live in San Diego, I can understand this....;)

I will slam the hardest beverage I drink (diet coke....lol) down once it's all complete.....and I'll take some pics.

I was even gettin crazy and thinking that I could envision dynamat extreme-ing the inside of my car, but something scares me about wanting to rip apart the entire inside of my car.........

I actually grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area ;).

I hear you about the drink, I myself hardly drink alcohol. I prefer something that actually tastes good :D.

Don't be afraid to rip apart the car. Just take your time doing it and you will be fine, or should I say, you car will be fine :). You may want to go with Second Skin for the sound deadening, very good product for less money than Dynamat Extreme.

taking apart the trunk is hardly ripping apart your car. The sides are usually only held on by clips that can be pulled out by hand, and the bottom is of course your spare tire so its meant to be taken out

I meant the whole interior of the car. Seats, console, carpet, everything.......

My interior was looking ok until chicago winter...........carpets are just looking worn and **** so I was thinking I might just replace the carpet. If I do that though, I'm going to dynamat (or whatever) the inside while I have everything torn out.....WHOLE different project than doing the trunk install (though I'll be having to go through the interior for the 1/0 gauge blah blah blah.

You better seal that trunk up good. Those f'ers are gonna move a shitload of air. As I know you're more into SQ, I assume that you'll be going with a sealed enclosure, right?
