Sorry for such a nasty diagnosis. Sounds like maybe you caught it early and with some lifestyle modifications you can beat this. Odds sound incredibly good. Good luck, keep your head up and stay positive.

When you get news like this, which I'm gratful it's the least aggressive cancer at that stage I'm at, but it still hurts on all kinds of levels.
Of course it does and will continue. You're in the early stages of digesting this massive piece of news you've received. Only you will know when it starts to hurt less and how long that will take. In the meantime, you Need to take the time to process all of this.
Sucks as it consumes all my thoughts , went to a car show today, which is my happy place it as I was walking around with my wife looking at the nice cars, these thoughts of this kept haunting me. I try to forget it for awhile to basically give myself a break, but it's like I have no control over it.Dan

Think of those thoughts as an annoying salesman who keeps coming to your door. At first you will listen, then the next time youll be polite and say no thank you, eventually when he comes back over and over you'll tell him to f off and move along. Eventually though he'll stop coming to your door. Same with those thoughts. At some point you'll be telling them to f off over and over and they'll stop knocking at your brain's door. But good for you for getting out there. Don't forget this is super fresh. The bed is still warm.

It is and I have my feedom moments. I'm gonna fight this thing with everything I got. I'm still kinda young at 56 , just turned on the 3rd of June and I spent some of my Birthday in the doctors office getting the Petscan which sucks.
But I'm not going to allow this to beat me. I will survive and life the best rest of my life I can. I have a Hellcat I want to buy and I have check list stuff I need to do before it's my time.Dan

Hi Dan.
I think about you all the time and wonder if your pain is gone due to scripts, and also how the program is going that you decided to get on.
Still praying for you to beat this. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Very kind Tony,
Right now I did all the tests. I have 1 Mylomia Cancer on my rib. The one that was supposed to be in my chest turned into nothing. I also don't have anything at my tailbone which all are very good things not to have.
I had a Bone marrow / Plasma bone sample surgery Monday and I have to wait 2 weeks for the results of those tests. They send them to Seattle to a lab there that runs the test on the plasma inside my bones and the actual bone sample. That test sucked, I feels like someone like Mike Tyson punched me in the right side of my tailbone and then stuck me with a knife. It feels like a bad bruise and an inside pressure pin point pain I have from it. It's getting better , it's annoying as hell.
Then on top of all that my lower back still hurts which started this whole thing. I'll be honest, I'm basically worn out mentally from all the cancer stress, I worn out continuing going to the hospital to get all these tests done. I'm worn out from waiting on results and I have been in pain for I think going on 6 weeks straight.
I really appreciate you checking in on my and I'm really hoping the next steps treatment really gets me on my feet. I have not been to the Gym in a month as the doctor doesn't want me lifting anything heavy. I have however gone on walks just about every single day, I lift super light dumbbells I have here in my home gym. I have done some light Yoga stuff and I'm just trying to maintain my Muscle mass and not lose it like I did when my Bicep got torn off the bone last year.Dan

You're doing all you can. You should be happy about that. The waiting sucks but one day you get some definitive news and you'll go from there.

I'm sorry you're still in pain and fatigued.
Some Doctor should've put you on pain medication and Welbutrin/Bupropion for your fatigue. The fatigue might disappear the first day you take a pill. It did for me.
My neighbor was handed 2 pain scripts on day one after the MRI and before he had his first low-dose chemo treatments. I was glad to see him without his back pain. He wasn't fatigued, so he didn't need help with that issue.
I've been taking Bupropion for years for the fatigue that has no reason to happen. I'm not depressed in the least; I don't smoke and am in a ok weight level. But a Doc told me she had the perfect medicine within 30 minutes of meeting me for my fatigue. She was RIGHT. 100% cured of my unknown reason/s for my fatigue. It still works every day. Bupropion is the cheaper generic version.
I had that (COVID) chest problem, and that took me down for a few weeks, and I don't remember if I took that med during those weeks. It's been a couple of years now, and I'm gaining weight back and have tackled some big jobs too.
You should be pain-free! Get on those Doctors about it, and ask about getting some Wellbutrin/Bupropion too. It's a MIRACLE drug for fatigue and doesn't make you high either. It does something right for me.
You're too young to be suffering through all the tests and the timeline waiting for the results.
Let us know what the latest bone marrow test results indicate, if you care to.
Your bicep operation pain for over a year, and now this; they need to get your mind and body into a better state moving forward.
This is YOUR life story and book, and the pages are flipping, and the words have despair everywhere.
I had fatigue, and my family doctor didn't want to TRY and help me, so I told him I had to turn the page and find another doctor who would. He just said ok. He didn't care; he had a ton of other patients filling his office.
I met this Lady Doctor at the new Doctor's office months later when she filled in for some other Doctor who also didn't seem to care about my fatigue too much. I had neck pai/bs issues at the time too, so I was ready to switch again, and she came into my life. I left that facility shortly after that because the place was a scam joint, and my wife caught them just like Nick Shurly and his partner looking at the paperwork and the billing/payment logs in Minnesota.
Sometimes we have to make a hard choice and move to try and make our Life's story BETTER.
Good luck, Dan.
I hope your next update has a better mood outlook.

I decided to just live my life and see how it goes. Yes my back hurts every single day but I'm going back to the gym on super light duty just to keep moving. At night I do some Yoda, again super light so I can retain my flexibility and hopefully regain some I lost sitting around for the last 5 - 6 weeks now. I'm not built to rest, I'm built to move.Dan

Thanks for all the suggestions. I plan on a lot of things to turn myself around. A nutritionist is high on my list.
It's been an incredibly ruff road but I'm still breathing so every day I do is a good day.
However I am overly tired of being in pain. I will take your suggestion and see what they say, and like you if they don't want to help, I'll find someone that will.Dan

Sounds like you got some positive news already, thinking of you and hoping you get some more as the tests come back.
