This was definitely news to me. At first, I thought I was being pranked. Not much info out there at the moment, other than he went to the hospital this morning for a severe illness and the family announced that he would not be racing in any event this weekend.
Dang, way too young. RIP brother.

He asked over the radio weekend before last for a doctor to meet him at his bus after the race. I’m thinkin’ he had something going on then. Sad. Just won a truck race less than a week ago.

Sad for sure.
My wife saw an article that said he had a bad sinus infection.
41, what a shame. :'(
R.I.P. Mr. BuschMost people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I saw something else that said he had double pneumonia. Who knows, maybe he had both?! Guess we’ll find out eventually.

There are a number of medical reasons for an unexpected sudden death.
Sad indeed

From what I've read he'd been feeling ill prior, but didn't do anything about it.Political Correctness'.........defined

The man was pushing himself too hard and bringing the candle at both ends at the same time. Taking a couple of weeks off to take care of yourself could’ve prevented his family, a lifetime of suffering. Moral of the story here guys, just take the best of care you can of yourself. That’s some advice. I need to listen to myself. The Gear... Good advice. I had pneumonia last fall and didn’t know it until I saw a PA for strong cough medicine and she didn’t like the sound of my lungs. After the course of antibiotics she checked me out and told me that she nearly sent me to the hospital. Take care of yourselves.

Pneumonia is one of those things that can go from bad to critical in the blink of an eye, unfortunately he took very bad advice from himself instead of listening to his body. This is very unfortunate that it came to this. I've had two relatives that died from pneumonia because they didn't listen to the doctor or thought it was no big deal. Not only do you need oxygen to live, as you can see here it can also lead to septicemia. When all your internal organs suddenly start throwing very nasty debris Internally there's not much the ER or your doctors can do as they are already way behind in the chase.
Very sad😢 -

I have been prone to have sinus infections throughout my life. When Glenn Frey passed away in January 2016 from complications of colitis and pneumonia, it sparked widespread national media coverage regarding the severity of bowel infections, colitis, and subsequent septic shock.
I read a "real life story" in 2016 by an Atlanta journalist regarding the benefits of taking probiotic supplements when taking antibiotics. The article identified Florastor Probiotic Supplement as the one of that period that is best for taking when you have an infection. Florastor is a yeast-based probiotic. Many other probiotics are bacteria-based and their effectiveness can be diminished by antibiotics.
I started taking the Florastor Probiotic after reading the article.
Common sense Sepsis description from the article
Sepsis is the body’s overreaction to infection. “The body has an army to fight infection, the immune system,” the article said. In sepsis, the body starts suffering friendly fire. Instead of shooting bullets at a bacteria or virus, the army is throwing hand grenades and lobbing mortars that damage the body itself.”
It becomes septic shock when blood pressure becomes dangerously low.
If you feel like you are the sickest you’ve ever been and have confusion or delirium, you should get to an emergency room as fast as you can.
The chance of surviving sepsis drops about 8 percent for every hour you are untreated. to survive.
https://specials.myajc.com/fixing-to-die/
When Doug Monroe published his personal survival story just a month later in February 2016, local health advocates and media outlets frequently cited both men together as prominent examples of how rapidly severe colon infections and sepsis can compromise a patient's life. However, within the actual text of Monroe's piece, he focuses strictly on his own medical timeline and his 30% survival rate at Piedmont Hospital. The AJC article no longer has a reference to Glenn Frey as it did when published.

Sinus infections are a thing of the past. Once my doctor had me pick up one of these and start rinsing at the first sign twice a day. I use two packages of the salt instead of one by doctors advice.
Use distilled water only UNLESS you want to die by amoeba brain infection.

Ivan, I have used those, and every known device known to man. I have a narrow nasal passage on the left side of my face that seems to avoid any method of rinsing. It is usually where my infections start.
My left ear also has a problem of wax accumulation that requires a visit to the ENT about every 4-5 months for wax removal using a forceps."Sometimes you have to look to the past to understand where you are going in the future"Harry / Marietta GA
