    Cool man!

Who made your rack, if you don't mind me asking? It kind of looks like a Massif.

No problem at all. A friend from college got tired of the corporate rat race, and is a full time woodworker now. https://www.keyhomegoods.com/

The design is largely based off the Butcher Block Acoustics designs, with some tweaks for my specifications. Highly recommend working with a local woodworker if you have any!

How are you liking the new TT? What cart, and pre are you using with it?

I love mine, definitely an end game piece for me..

Added the XPA-DR2 for 2ch. Rocking a 3.0 right now while the rack is in upgrade mode....

I’m loving it! This is the first time I upgraded the TT without upgrading the cart so I get a full sense of just what the TT can do. And the difference is honestly more significant than I was expecting.

It’s running my Hana ML cartridge into a Bob’s Devices Sky 20-S and that goes into my Sutherland 20/20 w/LPS.

My digital is now by far the weakest point in my system, but I think I’ll do cables next. Loving the upgrade though!

First listening session since the last upgrade (see last post).
The improvement in musical enjoyment is simply over the top! The best upgrade I've done in the last 10 years.
I won't say a pace and rhythm is better (but it is). Imaging like I'm wearing a VR headset with my eyes closed. Details I've never heard. 😅
Ok, a Couple days late for April fools, but I'm almost serious. When you sit down in a Stressless and get it to the correct comfort angle for you, it really is like loosing all stress. No pressure points, a feeling of alignment. The rest of the senses just open up. They are no longer muted because you are not in the pain that you didn't realize was there because you have unconsciously numbed the senses to cope. Try one.
I'm not paid by the company either. I'm sure there are other excellent comfortable furniture brands out there. Point being...don't settle for uncomfortable seating while you are listening. It can be a game changer.

For anyone thinking no luv-seat for me, they actually specialize in single recliners.

The cushions and mechanism are the same in any version. 1, 2, 3 seats, all the same.

I shopped 4 states and tested an untold amount of chairs to get the one perfect fit for me. It does make a difference in comfort and I can attest that it will change the sound you hear.

It just depends on many factors, but yes. I can agree to your observations. I actually posted about my change on this forum (I believe, if not the WBF).

This is yet another factor that proves that everything affects everything.

I had to do a little diagnostic on my secondary system that I use for home theater. I noticed that during low volume audio I could hear a noise from my speakers like "tut-tut-tut-tut..." I thought I had a KT88 tube going bad in my Jolida amp and since I didn't have spares for it I swapped in a different tube amp with EL34's. Same location and same connections, but when I turned it on I still had the noise and it was exactly the same noise as with the Jolida amp. I tried plugging the amplifier into a different outlet, but that had no effect. I started unplugging components, and that's when I noticed that when I put my hand between the TV and the amplifier, the noise was subdued. I tried moving the amplifier away from the television and the noise went away completely! I knew that picture tube televisions were noisy, but it seems that flat screens can be, too. The other thing I discovered is that I prefer the sound of the EL34 amp with the Ascend Acoustic speakers, so the Jolida is going on the shelf for the foreseeable future or it might get listed in the for sale classifieds.

Fired up the rig for the first time in a week. The sheer musicality and presence I hear is a joy like none other. Simply more confirmation that my search for better is over.

@nooshinjohn Congratulations! I thought I was happy with my system, but I made the mistake of visiting a brick and mortar shop near my mom's house and now I have upgrade-itus. I NEED better speakers. I'm missing so much detail with the speakers I'm using. What I have sounds good, but now that I've heard better and more, I need it. :#

Today I received my new to me speaker cables,Verastarr Grand Illusion Evo. They replaced Analysis Plus Oval 9’s.(non mesh versions)
I have played the Verastarrs about 6 hours, and I am really pleased with what I’m hearing. The soundstage is deeper and wider. I’ve noticed just a tad more sparkle up top, without sacrificing midrange or lower midrange. I’m running Graham Chartwell LS3/5’s,so I’m not expecting any thing low. That’s what subs are for. So far so good,as I play some music I’m familiar with.
