    SH IT... There are at least three villages in Iran with this name: one in Kermanshah Province, one in Mazandaran Province (Home to Golden C um Temple), and one in Zanjan Province.

    We've had amazing moonlight the past few nights, too. The snow cover helps. :)
    Indeed, 1Feb was interesting in that we saw moonset (more or less full moon) when we got up in the morning and moonrise (still more or less full) before we went to bed. B)
    At night, it's been quite bright -- no photos, though. :blush:

    Fun fact. The full moon in the wintertime sets in a place approximately equivalent to the equivalent summertime sunset (i.e., in our case, considerably north of west). Furthest north at the winter solstice for the full moon set. We're over a month past the solstice, though, of course.
