Nope. No way. South Carolina is full at this time.

You're probably right, I should move back to a state where taxes are outrageous and crime is legal!

Did you actually move down here?

    Tom

    Yep

    Quitter!

  • Whereabouts in SC? I reside close to Charlotte, NC. Maybe we could meet up one day. Not very many folks on this forum around these parts. I think there's now only 3 that I know of. One of our local audio club members just moved to TN.

  • I'm in Elgin just outside of Columbia. I've kinda lost interest in the audio realm but still like to lurk on here. I was up thru Charlotte last weekend and I can't believe how large that area is, it must've taken an hour to get through it. I've only been here a month and must say, it's the friendliest place I've ever been, the natives are truly polite in general. Still adjusting to the culture shock compared to Illinois but I just love the people here!

I understand. When I lived in VA, near DC and would wave at folks going down the road? I'd get alot of middle fingers. Down here, you wave, they actually wave back. It's a sign that the both of you are okay.

The first thing I noticed was the relaxed atmosphere. Everything wasn't so damned rushed. Welcome to SC, I am down in Elgin from time to time for work.

Taxes and prices are also MUCH lower.

Lol; I did a lot more than a knee scrape when I crashed my 2 stroke bike in 73 and still had to go to work the following day.

  • This is officially the coolest thing I’ve seen in days…. Hallelujah, possibly a return to people acting like adults, and not a bunch of overgrown children. Although I would wager that the backlash is going to be fierce, lol

  • The amount of folks that wear slippers and pajamas out grocery shopping has increased as well. I just shake my head.

Why don't they just make stuff sacks for fitted sheets, as they do for sleeping bags?
