There was a time not too long ago when I would have dismissed this as a complete fake. It might still be, however I have no trouble believing it to be true - few things are more toxic than the “influencer culture”…

    Agree!

AI may be trouble down the line, Gen Z's that never lived a day without a phone in their hand.

That's all from me, I usually keep quiet on these kind of topics.

The USPS, the undisputed champions of doing it wrong.

3 shipments from 3 different places and all 3 are, as of right now, somewhere unknown. How is that even possible!?!

This past week I received a check from a client postmarked 11/29/2024. :-(
Fortunately he'd replaced it but wow!

In lieu of a thread titled "You’re doing it RIGHT......"

    hn6lwqhqlkau.png
DEAR ABBY: I’m a 23-year-old college graduate who was lucky enough to land a job in my field of study. The job is located in my hometown. Because I couldn’t afford my own apartment, I moved back in with my parents. The situation was supposed to be temporary, but now that I can afford to move out, my parents insist that I stay with them.

They forbid me to move until I pay off the entirety of my student loans, which will take years. Then, after I accomplish that, they want me to start repaying them for the loans THEY took out for my schooling.

Had a shipment off ebay circle around from Maryland to Memphis
three times over several months. Lot of good a tracking number did
For me. It did finally show up. I don't know why they even bother with
    tracking.

Now -- Australia is (still) an RHD country, but, irrespective of that... this is... not a good idea.
In full disclosure, I freaking hate roundabouts (rotaries, as they're known in New England), but there is recent, aggressive proliferation in larger towns around here, mostly to slow down traffic.

Nonsensical Roundabout With Corners Causes Chaos in Australia

The roundabout (traffic circle to some of us Yanks) is a great idea for certain intersections. It speeds us along when traffic is light (pro tip: you don't need to stop if no one's coming from your driver's side) and it eliminates those annoying red lights where we are held for traffic that never comes. Europe, particularly the UK, has embraced them decades, and we're seeing more and more traffic circles in the States.
