This was like my first high-quality receiver. I bought it new. There were 2 models. I couldn't afford the higher priced one since I bought a cassette deck and TT too. I think it was this model.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

They were available to anyone in Europe and Japan including those in the US military. Many who brought them back home.
I never saw them in Japan. The only people I knew who had them bought them in Germany.
