It's going to be 80 degrees here today, maybe warmer. Relative humidity in the low double digits down to single digits in some areas. Really dry. Sucks the moisture out of everything. I'm digging the warm weather but feel kinda guilty since it ain't good for firefighters. They say we'll have rain this weekend. First real rain since May or thereabouts.

Well we didn't get to 80 but it is rather dry.
LAFD has been doing a heck of a job despite having to deal with several catastrophic wildfires.

In the next 24hrs we are expecting 15.5 inches of snow. A break on Friday then another 12inches Sat and Sun combined . Jerry can filled, cars filled, bbq tank filled and snowblower filled. Should we need it, the generator is available.

It's been a typical WA day here over the last couple of days here in SA TX, drizzily nasty misty rain with bone chilling cold......50's and 40's yesterday, 60s and 30s today.....and yes, I realize the near zero and subzero states are snubbin their nose at these temps, but this is Texas man, where a guy learns to breath like a reptile......however it's rodeo night tonight, gonna see how many tough guys are wearing short sleeves :D

I'm not freaking out. I'm just prepared. Shoveled all the intake and exhausts for HVAC and tankless water heater. Kids get a snow day and I'll be using the snowblower a couple times.

I've had my snow plow hooked up to my truck ready to go since November 1st and it's just sat there. I guess I shouldn't complain but a couple feet of snow will help with the spring salmon fishing (they like lots of water flow).

Years ago, we were having so many Hurricanes, Jim Cantore bought a condo here. :D

He was a regular around here. At least between Charleston and the Outer Banks.

If he wasn't staying here, we felt relieved. Seriously. :D

I know, I know. Big whoop. It's just that it's kind of rare 'round these parts.
