Repairing speakers

I have a pair of monitor 70s series 2. I had them in storage for a little bit and I've noticed that the screws that hold the woofers into the cabinet have rusted. Anyone know what kind of screws these are and where I can get some? TIA

I see them on amazon but they seem to be in metric sizes. You will need to measure the ones you have with whatever means you have. A dial caliper would be ideal.

Those are self tapping socket cap screws. No idea what size you have, so you'll have measure one. Likely a metric size.

The whole screw is an inch long and takes a 3mm allen wrench.

One inch is 25mm. You need the measurement of the threaded area not including the head, so I'm guessing the threaded area is 20mm (3/4") long.
Metric screw diameters are noted as M4, M6, M8, etc. Chances are yours are M4 or M6.Political Correctness'.........defined

I'd take them to the wire wheel, poke them through a piece of cardboard, dust a little black paint on the heads and call it a day.

If you're replacing all the screws, they don't necessarily need to be a socket head screw as long as the thread is the same, and the head has a good base..

That's not a local hardware store. George and I already posted links to places to buy the screws.
He said his local hardware stores were useless. I posted an alternative that helped me a lot restoring 60s vintage equipment.

I was going to suggest Sherwin-Williams but decided I had better call to make sure they had it in stock. I called and asked if they had black paint that would be good to use to paint the heads of screws. They told me the only way they could tell me for sure is if I could tell them the size of the screws. Yeah, I agree, even if they're rustier. As long as it's just surface rust and not full-on corroded, cleaning them and then coating with 3-in-1, chain & cable lube, or maybe even 2WD.
To me, that would be more enjoyable and less hassle than trying to find fasteners. Not to mention, keeps them original.
Timely note about Naval Jelly @michaeljhsda2 - I've got another project that I'm curious to try that on now. I think I once tried it years ago, though, and it didn't do anything for rust.
