    Ok @msg, back on it today... 29/32" is perfect for a Neutrik slip-fit...

    Took another .080" off lock-down spoke so the lid bottom clears without touching...

    Went back and put a 1/64" chamfer on the lid. Next will grind off Neutrik square tabs and install with soldered fast-ons....

    Working on the XS-Dreadnaught's companion boards. Will mount externally to the XS-8TL's when done....
    Measuring the Neutriks depth, Ill have to machine 1" dia alloys that are 0.75" long so the wiring will clear....

    Surprised you used an iron core? Just curious since an air core wouldn't cost that much more in the end?

    They're all air cores, just made acetal inserts for the 2.5mH inductors.
    Thinking about machining cylindrical resistor heat radiators for them too.

    Would it be ok to lower the small tweeter inductor to the opposite end of the board running same direction?

    I don't think you would experience any issues putting the tweeter inductor down lower.

    This would be easier to wire everything up and have the Neutrik right next to the TeCu posts....

    No, I'm asking about the factory pin/blade IC cable itself. If the blades are actually used (closed) and transfer signal like the pins do.

    They do and they don't.

    The way the speakers work the signal is connected thru the negative speaker terminals, hence the requirements for a common ground amplifier

    Connecting the blade to ground is redundant but I still prefer to use it
