since you lack the cranial horsepower needed to determine the difference between WANDERING and WONDERING which, in all fairness, is a step above the ability to chew gum and not choke on it.

Blame Del Shannon. He started it.

Ya know, I keep hearing people say that folks aged faster prior to, like, the 1980's and I keep thinking that it's just artifacts of stuff like the quality of the film used to take pictures and stuff or just the dated hair and clothing styles but...

...in that video Del Shannon is only like 28 years old.

He looks like he's 45 and doing the music gig on the side to hide from the wife and kids.

I hate it when people actually think that they can pay you in weed in Oregon. If you pay for it you are an idiot. It's legal to grow for personal consumption and it's a weed you idiot. You don't need a degree in horticulture to grow it. It makes you wander about people sometimes.

So there's this brewery nearby, built on an old farm, and they renovated farm house a bit. Pretty popular place, but I've never had a beer there that didn't sour my stomach within a couple of hours. I guess I'm not that kind of hipster.

Anyway, they have live entertainment sometimes. I don't know who they've got over there today, but whoever it is, they're intrusively penetrating my walls. Before I realized what it was, I turned down the music a couple of times, thinking I was hearing an injured farm animal wailing in distress. If only the wind would shift...

Our farmer-neighbors are hosting a wedding today, and we're getting somewhat the same thing. The party must've started. :)
We feel bad for them -- the weather today is terrible. Fortunately, they do have a tent, but it's windy, too. Not optimal. Liquor should help, though. B)

The front's gone through, we had a bit of a sunset, the air's cooled off, and the party's on! :) (and our house is opened up to listen in).
Given that we had three good friends die in the past week (two cancers and one old age), a little merriment, even someone else's, is kind of nice on a Saturday night.

    What I hate.....?

Receiving news from a very good friend of yours that his stereo system is down and probably will be for a while. Poor fella has to crate up his amp, ship it off 1/2 way across the US, wait for it to be repaired and wait yet again for the unit to be shipped back.

The whole time, without tunes on his big rig.

I have been there, done that and I can tell you that it absolutely s***ks. Yeah, I know, part of the hobby and all but it's still something I hate to hear.

I hate the overuse and misuse of the word love. It's everywhere, thumbs up if you loved the show. Sorry I have no emotional attachment to a show/movie/some post or an object. Therefore I never love anything.
I do love my family and friends and our dog (well she fits under family)

    This ^^

I also hate the overuse of the word literally. It's used so much that 'literally' no longer means what it actually does. It's so stupid. Everything is literal.

"That's literally insane" and "That's literally insane" mean two entirely different things.
