I have his info will be my first time dealing with auto insurance besides paying them.

I was just sitting at a red light mine in my own business. He got out of his Jeep with his phone already in his hand and the screen on, it never left his hand.

Stoplight texting is out of control.

Idiots. Why we can't have nice things.
Sorry, dude. It's a crap feeling when someone else trashes your stuff you try to take good care of.
Wha'd he say? "Uh, my bad."
I hope you yelled him and told him you had a baby in the trunk.

Come on now......it's hard to drink your beer, text and drive at the same time. It's much safer to text at a light.

I cleaned up the wife's Envoy. 2008, still looks great. SLT trim with 64K. Knock on wood, no issues other than scheduled maintenance. She will not part with it. A few years back I upgraded to a Bluetooth radio with backing camera.

I've been removing the luggage rack every year to clean under it and give it and the roof a proper detail. I use Anti-Seize on the bolts.

We had a bitchen most excellent sun dog late this afternoon (ca. 4:30). I had a telephoto on the camera, so I couldn't get the sun in the frame, too. I was afraid that if I ran off and got a wider angle lens, the sun dog'd be gone before I got back. :|

I like the lens cap/shot class.

I guess you could do that with a smartphone, too -- make a little nipping flask :|

Got some pretty sweet new action figures. Some people like Batman or Marvel superheroes, I've been a TMNT fan since the late 80s cartoon.

Our son was big into them when he was little.
Our grandson has a "vintage" stuffed Raphael of unknown (to me) provenance (i.e., not from our legacy kid toys) and he loves the Turtles. :)

    All hail the Bar-tailed Godwit!

This bird is a champion flyer and once again an individual has broken the world record for the longest continual flight.

This week a juvenile Godwit, just 5 months old, landed in Ansons Bay in northeast Tasmania. It had been tagged in Alaska and departed there on October 13, 2022 before flying non-stop to Tasmania.
Godwits are regular visitors to Tasmania so it’s likely that many undertake a similar flight but it's the first time a tagged bird has flown between Alaska and Tasmania.

This bird flew a minimum of 13,560 km in 11 days 1 hour, that’s an average of over 51kmh continually for those 11 days. And don’t forgot there was no eating, drinking or sleeping during that journey.
