OK, here's a weird one for y'all.
We were driving home from an impromptu pizza dinner at our daughter & family's house in a town near us. Driving there (and back) we'd observed an ... interesting... piece of yard art.

Apparently this bus ball (or an eerily similar Doppelgänger) was a much-beloved fixture at the UVM campus in Burlington... until this spring.

It's actually two straight eight single overhead cams joined together, each with its own crankshaft connected to the other by gears. I looked it up and it appears to have been designed as an aircraft engine and I could find no mention of Bugatti ever putting one in a car, so probably someone just stuffed it into one. -
