The male sometimes perches on dead branch 25' away from the box. I got a picture of the Female going into the box this morning. The pair were sitting above our bird feeders even though they never go to them. I think they prefer bugs and worms.
I waited for 10 min. but the male flew off to the back and never returned. An afternoon and evening lighting is better for the male anyway. He's a looker.

These rose bushes were planted a year or more ago. The soil on the right had been dug up about 16" so I could put a cover shield over the power-line going to the cottage.
The difference in plant sizes is obvious. The ones on the right have softer and get more water from the driveway run-off too. These bushes have been thriving now and the roses put off a slight sweet smell UNTIL the Confederate Jasmine vines bloomed.
Oh, there's been a female Cardinal nesting near the top of this bushy Jasmine vine by the back door.
Here's my wife's "Day Lilly" collection she's been growing for years. They have some rare Lilly's in some pots.

The first time I realized I liked Indian cuisine occurred the first time I visited London and had a few English dishes, starting with bangers and the English version of scrambled eggs.I have found scrambled eggs to be the same in the UK as here. Wonder what you had that was different?
I thought that was "French" eggs.
[EDIT:] I believe you are referring to The French style creamed scrambled eggs. Small and tender curds but still pasteurized and creamy.

My truck was gleaming extra nice today for some reason. So I took a shot of it.
Now I said I'd get a picture of the glorious male Bluebird and I had a magazine cover shot in my camera screen. His colors were superb and contrasting like a male in his prime.
The camera has a timer to shut the screen off after 10 or 15 seconds. Just when I was about to push the button down, the camera goes into sleep mode. I push the button and it comes back on. I instantly clicked the button again...He flew off 1/2 a second before the second click.
Maybe next time...

Wow that Ford is clean. I learned how to drive stick in one of those with a straight 6. Perfect for learning, plenty of torque so it was lenient on not giving enough gas as you let the clutch out but dog slow to stay out of trouble.

I learned 3 on the tree but don't remember the motor.
I paid 14K for the truck in 96. It had 12K miles on it for the one year. I just looked at the window sticker the other day and it was 20+K new. It has 36,200 miles now. I usually didn't drive it except to pick up things. Now I will drive it to pick up fast food. I drove it the other day to pick up 1lb. of grass seed. 
I had a guy wanting to buy it in the drive of the farmer's supply. He had a NICE F250 too.
It's been a GREAT truck except for last fall when the distributor died. It has new tires and a full tune-up upgrades. It runs and drives like new now. I almost wanted to trade it in for a new one but too many people told me to keep it. The cost factors were what also made me keep it. No payments for over 20 years has been nice.
My wife will probably get the job of selling it. I hope she gets 14K. Maybe a good investment after all.

Love those Bluebirds. My "name" was derived from my love as a kid of all the Bluebirds.

Pine siskin on the bluebird "jail" feeder. The idea is that larger birds cannot get to the center cup of seed , grubs, but bluebirds can. We sprinkle food across the 'floor', so many smaller birds can use it as a platform feeder of sorts. Large birds have nowhere to perch.
I think this is the first time I've seen a pine siskin on there, though. Pine siskins live in the far north, but aren't uncommonly seen in New England when winters are cold, snowy and/or long. We've had a couple of them almost every day lately -- they'll be heading back north soon, though.
