    Yes! Very good eating.

N.B. this definition from Merriam Webster:

    wood·chuck | ˈwo͝odˌCHək |
    noun
a North American marmot (rodent) with a heavy body and short legs.
    Marmota monax, family Sciuridae.

    My emphasis on "rodent."

Somehow "rodent" in the same breath as "good eating" strikes me as an oxymoron! B)

That Scottish accent joke reminds me of another.

An American tourist was in a London pub and he heard 2 obese women at another table speaking in an accent he had not yet heard.

So he asks them: "Are you ladies from Scotland?"

    One of them responds: "Wales."

To which the man responds: "Oh, I'm sorry. Are you WHALES from Scotland?" :o

    1) North America's second largest rodent, by the way.

    2) Folks eat squirrels.

    3) [Some] Vermonters refer to themselves as Woodchucks.

Just saw a photo of this album posted over @ hifihaven.org
It's a new one on me -- ol' Chester had it goin' on, though. No doubt about that. B)

Note the Stephens (not Altec) monitor :) and the EICO silly-scope.
EDIT: Oh, and that big 'n' bold lookin' Hickok VTVM! :)
I am not so sure of the identity of the little VOM sitting on the console. Looks too rectilinear to be a Simpson (??) -- maybe a Triplett?

    Oh, and that Gretsch :)
I knew another guy who got good mileage out of a "Chet Atkins" Gretch, once upon a time...

PS It's too bad we can't see a little more of the tape deck behind Mr. Atkins.
@SeleniumFalcon may be able to ID it, though?! :)

Looks like what might be a soldering gun on the console and I think you're right about the Triplett.

oh, I missed the soldering gun! Looks like my ol' man's trusty Weller -- which is here, is as old as I... and still works* (although I am not sure one can still get tips for it).

Tips are available all over. Still got one here from 40 years ago.

    Nope, that's definitely a Simpson 260.
Sitting on the shiny black surface makes it appear taller than it is
Simpson 260 bet the farm on it.
.....that's your farm to be exact. 👍

I'm totes willing to believe it's a Simpson -- there's one in the basement. B)
I just think of the Simpson as curvier -- you know, more voluptuously streamlined. :)
It does look like the bits are in the right places -- but the shape seems a bit different.
Wish I had a better copy of the album cover image. Heck, wish I had the album! ;)
