    ^ Magnats maybe?

Yes sir...I should say that I liked them compared to the other speakers I was listening to way back then. I haven't heard them in over 35 years, so I can't say if they aged well...or not.

This actually tested fairly well and the overall esthetics isn't bad, I bet you can find them cheaply priced.

It kind of reminds me of those mockup components you see on shelves in furniture stores.

Someone is selling one near me...better lighting certainly helps the cause but 3 bills seems optimistic.

He (Alex Shackman) also sold the electrostatic panels separately as a kit for DIY "ädd your own woofer" applications. I went to his store and was lectured to about sibilance (seemingly) being the scourge of mankind, I bought a pair and grafted them on to some cheapo KLH two ways I had. The combination sounded really rather good. I brought them with me when I moved to the colonies, but one of the panels died shortly afterward, and I discovered so, also, had Mr Shackman.

I'm curious about this amplifier, I know William Z. Johnson (founder of Audio Research) had a store in Minneapolis and eventually worked for and then bought the Peploe Electronics company. I wonder if Goodell was involved somehow in the early audio scene.
