Part of the equipment review in the 1980 issue of Stereo Review for the Monitor 10 speaker. The tone burst response is very telling, hard for a speaker to produce a 10.0kHz burst that clean at multiple microphone positions. -

I was passing through Louisiana from Dallas to Alabama and decided to spend the night at the casino to play some blackjack and have a little fun.
Off in the distance I heard some VH playing, thought it was a cover band or something. It was actually David Lee. So on my next restroom trip, I stopped to watch ...
...was not good, actually pretty bad.
