Anyone have something they're sitting on that they'd rather turn into digital dollars with Venmo? Entryish level stuff only. Skeptical but open minded so I don't want to dive straight into high end.

Am just using a generic Insignia USB A to B cable right now.

    I have nothing but respect for DK, and he seems to have a great ear and clearly has great knowledge and gear. But right now I am sitting here switching back and forth between an MIT Coax cable I bought here years ago, amd the wireworld gold starlight 6 I bought from @marvda1, and I'm sorry but there is a CLEAR difference between two, even on my modest rig. The MIT has a more forward and energetic presentation, which surprises me. Definitely fun to compare, and you should be able to find something much better than what you have for $50-75, maybe less...

    I can vouch for RAL being a VG cable.
    I've not tried their USB, but I used their Passage Cryo Silver Reference umbilical between my Cary-98 pre and PS. Also, currently using the between my Cary-05 and PS.

    iFi Mercury sounds way better than Pangea Premier SE to both myself and my audio bud Steve. I returned the Pangea. iFi says theirs uses continuous cast copper. I really don't know what caused the difference but it was very real.

    Audioquest Forest are decent use 1 in one rig and a Wireworld Starlight in another, pretty nice gesture from Dave that Forest should do you just fine.

    RAL makes excellent umbilical cables. I wasn't expecting the improvement I heard. No idea about the USB.

    So you like the MIT coax over the Wireworld? What mit is it? I have an old Avt1 maybe i should be putting that back in the rig?

    Got ya. I have a few myself the mit av1, Wireworld Starlight silver 7, Cullen, Monster, and another one that I cannot remember the brand. I haven't used the AV1 in a bit so maybe i to put it back in the system for a bit.
