Looks like Claremont's North Country Smokehouse bacon :)
Pretty good stuff it is, too... although we do prefer our neighbor's.

So your neighbors are tasty then??? :D

A particularly good photo of a young Louis Armstrong, arguably the most influential musician and singer in jazz history.

That’s a big snapper! A friend and I were seining in the forest preserves south of Chicago in the 1970s when we were pretty sure we had a boulder in the seine. It was a snapper about a foot across. Neither of us made any attempt to delay its determined march back to the pond. My buddy became a fisheries biologist.

This is a photo of the Fairey Swordfish, the British built torpedo bomber that operated from the beginning of WW II until the end and is credited with the most amount of damage to enemy shipping of any other aircraft of any country. Just goes to show you can't tell about appearances, most observers would dismiss this as old.

Chris Squire with Revox A77 but there isn't headphones or mic plugged in, so a "photo op" I'm guessing.

Funny thing it must be turtle migration season. I about hit one on the highway last night coming home. It was about 1/2 that size in the middle of my lane.

When I was younger see one in the road it was dinner.

Jug fishing for them in ponds was another way.

In the past I would have too. We do not see them as much in the rivers.(with any size to them) This one off a back highway that is in a Mackinaw river flood plain.
Jug and bank lines was how we did it.

Those snappers have some pretty good jaw strength. One that size, could easily snap your hand or foot off. Nothing to screw around with for sure.
