Single Polk Monitor 5a in a pretty decent condition - $25 (Walnut Creek)

That’s a Peerless 5. Good deal for $25, some guys like them for center channel if they have Peerless monitor fronts.

I do not recall ever seeing a set with the Polk logo down low like that with the wood on the bottom. That looks cool.

That is a very early monitor 10 (but too pricey unless you are starting a Polk museum).
But did Polk really make 55,959 speakers before it? Anyone have an idea of the vintage?

You guys ever get near Hartsville SC I have a set for my office system there. I really need to get a turntable and CD player or something other than the receiver for them too.HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.
Bedroom system: Carver CT-24, Parasound HCA-800II, Monitor 10's

Probably the weight on the passive. They are not glued on too well. I had one come loose. I set the speaker down a little too hard moving it one time and heard it fall. I don't travel much anymore. I used to travel through SC every week for about 6 years.
