Did i see some bare floor in one of the earlier pictures????

Was there a basement under this room, or is it slab on grade?

Keep up the good work and get all of your cassettes, CD’s, and movies in one location!

    :D

    Thanks.

    No basement.
    Block foundation. 2x8 (10?) joists.

The carpet Piece doesn't fill the whole room. :#

I do have that media in one room right now. :)

Last night... I did think about moving the CDs along the wall to someplace else like a rolling shelving unit. I could then put 2 oak shelving units against the wall.
I'm going to measure the possibility. ;)

Surprisingly, my toe has cleaned up the bruising quite fast. :) I'm soooo glad.

It was black, blue and purple just a couple of days ago. :# I should've taken some pics of it then.

There has to be a sowing kit somewhere out there. Put a light to a needle and drain that puppy! >:)

That was my thought after the initial cussing.

Who would think you need them around the house. :D

:):p Taking pictures of the toe earlier, I DID think of doing just that.

I had a thumb get smashed when I was a kid. It was bad. The doctor did just that. Heated a needle with a flame and went through the nail. I think blood hit the ceiling.

But years ago, many years ago I burned my forearm big time on something. Maybe an exhaust pipe or header. A huge long and a little wide liquid filled blister rose up. I thought of popping it too but I was afraid the loose skin would shed off and leave a huge scar. Low and behold, after a couple or more weeks the blister shrunk and the skin went back to normal. Weird, but it worked. How I didn't accidently pop it is a miracle.

I'm diabetic type 2, so I'm going to leave my skin intact and see if the blisters start subsiding.

I really thought after seeing my toe that night, I was going to lose it. It was ugly dark.

I did, after the cussing, thank God and my guardian angel for sparing my middle foot from the impact. ;)

I actually thought about that sentence and I just didn't add anymore info to it. :D:D

The sentence still looks stupid doesn't it.

On another note... I sold another set. B)
    That's a total of 8 speakers downsized. 6 towers and 2 bookies.
Met another nice guy. He thinks he'll be back to buy something else.

My wife can't stand clutter. Upon seeing these
pics, the only thing she could say was
"well, I guess someday it will make one very impressive
    estate sale".

    What gu talkin bout? :D

I did try and cut my nails before the pics were taken. :D

In the past year or more...my toe nails have gotten harder.

    Maybe an age related thing.

I've heard those pedicures are very soothing. I've always wanted to experience it.

I'm not sure why this thread is so entertaining, but I need to do this in my garage. I have condensed 7 car garage's worth of stuff into a 2 car garage.

    I hear ya.

There's been many guys who talked me out of pieces I really liked and knew were gems. I needed spare money back then so I caved.

I was getting "Stereo Review" since I was about 21. So as Audio equipment was getting better and better, I was dreaming of owning some of the stuff. I read and re-read those mags and even sent in those Manu. interest cards that came in them. I had a bag of sales info pamphlets.

I couldn't afford hardly a thing but I knew what was great.

I still have every magazine I received. I've been thinking real hard about them lately. keep them, Karma them or try eBay selling for the first time.

I have been getting Stereo Review, The Absolute Sound, and Stereophile since at least the 80s. After they are two months old then into the trash they go.

I was going to probably throw out this double magazine holder of Home Theater mags.

I pulled out of the middle just to look at the cover and see what was in it.

    Low and behold...

The 50 greatest albums of all time. :s

I just have to read through it again later. So there I go again. :o

Did some more tonight. It's 2:30am and I feel I made good progress. I have a bag of little cheap surround speakers and 2 BIG pillows I'll donate soon.

Found this chess set under stuff in the antique recliner. I played many games of chess with a close friend in 1973,74 and 1/2 of 75. This is one of my favorite set designs. I also played chess games with the same friend with an Oriental Emperor Ming dynasty plastic set. That's another favorite. I don't have that set anymore.

And look what I found under the chess set. :D I thought I had one. Now maybe 2 if I find one in the back room. :) There's some great cassettes still in it.
