My chest and both arms had been hurting for 3 days but it would t ease up at times. Well it took a turn for the worse yesterday. I went to our local hospital and the doctor said it was a really bad one. They put me in a helicopter and flew me to Nashville. Getting good care but a bit concerned. They said my heart was only pumping at around 25.%. They moved me to ICU and put a catheter in my neck going to my l heart. They said this was a STEMI type and it was the widow maker.

I would appreciate any prayers or positive thoughts.

From this picture, it looks like the whole hospital is dedicated to heart studies and cures. oops, just saw a cancer wing. I guess all hospitals have cancer wings now.

You're in the right hospital for sure.

I guess doctors and nurses like Taco Bell...they can walk to it in a minute.

Healthcare is very competitive in Nashville. St. Thomas (part of Ascension) has two campuses (west and mid-town), Columbia/HCA/Tri-Star is based here, including their flagship Centennial Med Ctr, and then Vanderbilt Univ. Med Ctr for those who prefer an academic twist ;)
