I saw these on craigslist earlier this morning. Almost wish that I shouldn't have spent Uncle Sam's 1200 on strippers and liquor. https://tulsa.craigslist.org/ele/d/broken-arrow-polk-audio-lsim-c-speakers/7166064767.html

Nice catch. I spent time looking at the tweeters and didn't even pay attention to the MW.

  • Pair of B&K M200 mono's. Has the Musical Concepts mod. Not sure what that entails. If you have speakers that are a difficult load, these are a great sounding amp with huge amounts of reserve capacity.

  • A neighbor posted a list of vintage hi-fi for sale this afternoon. Was bought in Japan in 1970 when stationed there. No Affil.

The Coral speakers could be interesting as are the TEAC RTR Model 4010S and the recorded RTR tapes. I wouldn't want to buy all of it.

    uncrmsaqp0l5.jpg

The only info. on Coral BX-500 speaker's I could find was this video. Other Coral speakers mentioned elsewhere online were that their later models (were Kabuki) and possibly their earlier models are desirable, possibly duplex style. Would the ones in the video be Kabuki? Anyone know more?

Found this (web site below), but a Coral BX-500 is not listed.

The seller's ad could be wrong and it could be a BX-1500, which looks similar, but a little different than the BX-500 in the video.

    https://audio-database.com/CORAL/speaker/index.html

Found this photo of the Coral speaker in the sellers ad:

  • Quick interjection: Coral MC phono cartridges sound wonderful. The 777 is infamous, and the MC-81 series is even better.

Nebraska. I don't have time to resell things now, for several reasons. I'll pick up something of interest a couple of times a year.
Here's the TEAC RTR and lot of RTR tapes.

Nope. I made it to MD a few weeks ago. I had to get while the getting was good. My last few weeks were unpleasant (Navy sea duty during this crisis is no fun.)

    Thanks, me too!

I did pick up that TT this morning. I can't see how I can go wrong for 25 bucks. It needs some cleaning and a maybe a new stylus. I doubt I will get around to doing much with it this week as I start a new job. I will dig in to it next weekend.
