    F1 and other friends on this page! I just tried to see the center of the stuck magnets and I got a flashlight !! it really is glued !!! I will have to repair this week and I will be showing photos !! thank you very much to all of the group !! they are geniuses !! your advice helped me a lot! Greetings and thanks to all!!     Hello people!! I had to disassemble the speaker Would it look good or is it better to buy a new one? I run some risk that it sounds bad !! What details should I take into account with disarmament? the price of disarmament in my country is around 30 usd the 4 repaired !! regards

    You can repair them! Do a search here. I have not tried it myself however it has been done with success many time, good luck

    If those drivers are mw6503 then they are 8 ohm speakers. Check the ohm readings with a meter and make sure they are good. Should ohm out at 7 to 7.5. If they dont they are bad. There are plenty of mw6503 on ebay right now

    The nominal rating for the speaker is 6 ohms. The driver is supposed to be rated at 8 ohms.

    Those markings are just letting you know the speaker impedance range supported by your Yamaha receiver. Hook the speakers up to the larger binding posts labeled Front L and R.

    !! hello everyone I comment on the repair of the woofers! I managed to repair two .... they sound a thousand times better! It was repaired without changing anything, everything was pasted again !! I am just afraid to make it sound !! for knowing that it was repaired! and two others do not sound good I will have to buy full !! it could not stick so well and it does not sound good !! makes some squeals !!! greetings thanks friends! having 100% of the polk I make a video !! regards

    the same original cones were glued again !!! they carefully pulled out and stuck the same cone !! Do you think you should buy that two new damping cones? they sound good nothing else I do not know if they will last !! Thank you

    two woofer the cones I think they were not glued well and no longer serve to re-glue! they sound bad!
