Going to buy a shelf this weekend I think so I can get some more stuff unpacked. One of my retro game boxes, NES and couple Atari 2600 games. Many many more boxes besides this.

For fun at the place I used to work, I would get a new employee and teach them how to fix a power supply. I would go through all of the safety items, teach them how dangerous and lethal it was to work on them, blah, blah, blah. Well, as an indoctrination of sorts, I would short out a 1f cap with a screwdriver right behind their seat when they were just about to get into it.

I couldn't tell you how many chairs flew across the shop at top speed every time I did that.

For those that don't know, it's pretty much like a shotgun blast when they short out. Powerful enough that it would knock out about 2 to 3 mm of the screwdriver. It was fun, it was mean but once indoctrinated, everyone looked forward to getting the next guy. Yes, I was indoctrinated too when I first came to that repair shop.

Way back in the day when I turned wrenches for a living cap, rotor, points & condenser replacement was S.O.P. at every 15k miles

Take the old one, charge it up...

    "Hey newbie. Catch"

    endless entertainment.

  • I use to leave a few of those condensers charged up laying around in my tool box just to Zap the fools who where taking my tools without asking. Worked very well.

Your pics show how large this earth is.

With all this media about world affairs, the size of this earth gets diminished.

Thanks for all these glorious pictures.

That bridge in the hands ( of Buddha I assume) is really a huge work of art and very cool to me. Another HUGE statement of what humans can accomplish when they want too.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
