This thread reminds me that I need to re-watch all of TNG.

I am a fan of Next gen.
Just watched 2 seasons of "The Orville" and found it to be quite Star Trek like, and entertaining.
Almost Nex Gen quality on many episodes, but with less stick up the butt atmosphere!

The Orville. The one where "Worf" starts smoking cigarettes was hilarious. I know his name isn't Worf!

Now I haven't watched any of the Orville. May have to give it a try!

It takes a bit of getting used to at first, but it goes from what at first seems an odd homage to Star Trek Next gen, to then seeming pretty similar and as good.

Season Two goes off the rails and runs head to head with a lot of "real" Star Trek" stuff.

    VERY worthy of a view!

Hell yeah!! That is my favorite Star Trek anything.

Anyway I started once again to watch Discovery and man it's hard to stay interested. I'm on eposide 3 and I'm barely in. I get it in way and others I'm kinda out. It just loses me on the Star Trek feel. It's Star Trek but feels very different.
I hate so far the Klingons. They seem so stupid and slow. The first 2 Eposides where they basically constantly just rant away was annoying. Their look is also very annoying. They don't look like anything from any of the other Star Trek Shows or movies.

    Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
