Went to Vegas two weeks ago, and though I didn't gamble any, they still got the better of me. Brought these two home. I had been floating between a number of IWC models, and couldn't pass up the chance to snag one of the last limited edition 150th year anniversary models.9hvi3pjnuw3z.jpg
As a general rule I am not a fan of Tags. However I do love the Monaco's association with racing, and am a sucker for the Gulf livery.

Took that pic of mine in a dark environment. Hard to get good shots of the finish as it’s the titanium metal and the deep grey is hard to capture.

    Some better ones.

Thanks. I'm quite happy with it.

Nice Oris BTW! I like that company as a whole. I've been very happy with their Brashear Chrono that I bought just over a year ago. There's are a few of their pieces still on my radar.

Now that I own one decent mechanical watch, I’m thinking about getting another. This time I’d like more of a beater. I’m looking at used dive watches with either a date or day-date complication. Seiko Turtles and Samurais are readily available for $200-$400. I might go a bit higher than this. If anyone can suggest other good value brands that are similar and not too gaudy, please let me know.

Got a new box today. Favorite is the Movado as it was my first luxury watch more than 25 years ago.
Try to restored but Movado said no and send it back to me. It stills work but the band has a lot of scratches.

    ubnuta29naih.jpg

Only problem the box has 3 empty slots. Good thing to have.

    Cheers.

    Nice collection!

My wife got me this for Father's Day this year. Just Fossils, Swatches, MVMT and a smart watch or something 🤔. Thebengraved initials were a nice touch. Yes my initials are actually CDC. 😏

And our Belgian Malinois, Zoe in the back ground saying feed me!

As a Customs Agent, I've collected duty on some pretty outrageous watches. I've always liked the Tag Heuers. Some day baby, some day.

The Monaco V4 by Tag Heuer has always been my favorite. Ifbi could have any watch this would be it.

I have a Seiko turtle and like it....it takes a beating and is no worse for the wear. I had a Steinhart Ocean One Vintage for years and liked it a lot but it didn't keep GREAT time. The Christopher Ward Triton series looks pretty interesting as well.....
