Got engaged last weekend and picked up a new vehicle this week. None of that matters right now. The sweetest baby in the world just got diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Even with surgery and radiation she has 9-12 months at most. I am absolutely shattered right now. I guess this is the price you pay for all that unconditional love.

Here is LB, the best dog I’ve ever known.8yr48c9r1n9i.jpeg

I rescued her so not 1000% sure, but supposedly an English. Thanks Cathy, much appreciated.

Thanks all. I hear ya Bob, I’ve cried like a baby the last hour or so. Can’t be sad around her though bc she can tell I’m upset and it gets her upset. D, she had seizures a few months ago that were controlled by Keppra. She had a BAD one last night (I thought she was dying on me) so we went to the vet and there you have it.

We’re going to make this last year of her life beyond good. Extra walks, rib eyes off the grill, lots of raw hides. She will want for nothing and can do anything she wants. All rules are off.

So sorry to hear this. My chihuaha will be 13 next month and, although healthy, he has started to have some coughing fits lately which I need to have checked out. He is my best buddy in the world and I know how hard it will be when that moment comes which we all dread. The time goes by so fast. All the best to you and your buddy!

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Very sad news. As long as you make her happy and comfortable while cherishing the time you left together, take solace in the fact that you've given her a wonderful life and she can cross the rainbow bridge in peace when that day comes.

That's horrible news, I'm very sorry to hear about her sickness. Based on your reaction, I'm sure you have given her lots of love in the past and will in her last months as that is all you can do. Dogs never it seems live long enough considering how much unconditional love they give us in return. We're on our 5th one, and will never forget the other four and how much love they gave us.

I sure hope dogs really do go to heaven as they would make it an even better place.

Well, congrat's on the engagement and new car, Jason. Bittersweet with the news of your sweet one. Please allow me to offer you my sincerest condolences regarding the recent news and condition of LB.

I like the "all rules are off thing". We did the same for our beloved Vizla and pampered her immensely for her last days. I too, cried like a baby when we were forced to put her down. They truly are like family.
